Quartz ceramic crucibles/sagger(used for molten metal furnaces) are made primarily from selected fused quartz using modern ceramic processing techniques. YH crucible/box products boast high material purity, with a minimum silica dioxide content of≥99.99%, and exhibit a room temperature compressive strength of ≥70 MPa. These fine fused quartz ceramic materials are prized for their refined structure, low thermal conductivity, minimal thermal expansion coefficient, high dimensional accuracy, excellent thermal shock stability, good electrical properties, and superior high-temperature thermal shock resistance. As a result, they offer extended service life, and excellent resistance to chemical corrosion, and find extensive application in industries such as glass processing, metallurgy, electronics, chemical engineering, aerospace, and beyond.

The crucible furnace for melting blocks uses high-purity fused silica (silicon dioxide) as the main material, with small additions of materials such as zirconia and alumina. It undergoes processes like vacuum casting and compression molding, as well as low-temperature dewaxing and high-temperature sintering, achieving temperatures up to 1700 degrees Celsius.

Sizes of crucibles available: 1L, 1.6L, 3L, 5L, 10L, 18L.

Usage instructions:

This ceramic crucible furnace involves placing a funnel-shaped crucible inside the furnace. The pre-prepared melting blocks are directly poured into the crucible from above. The bottom of the crucible has a circular hole (pouring outlet) through which the molten material flows out. A long plug rod seals and connects with the bottom of the crucible's pouring outlet. When powered on for heating, the plug rod remains in a downward pressure state (under its own gravity), maintaining a sealed contact with the pouring outlet to prevent leakage during heating. Once heating is complete, the plug rod is lifted upwards to begin pouring the molten material. Conversely, releasing the plug rod stops the flow of material. For crucible furnaces ranging from 10L to 17L, they can either manually pour the material or be customized into electrically controlled pouring type crucible furnaces.
